Charlie Chaplin tests a model of a lightweight vehicle called the Briggs & Stratton Flyer (Auto Red Bug), often called the "five-wheeler" because the engine was mounted directly on the fifth wheel at the rear of the vehicle.
This gasoline-powered vehicle was produced from 1919 to 1923.

It was made to be shown at a party at Douglas Fairbanks and Mary Pickford’s house, Pickfair, in honour of the release of their friend Charlie Chaplin’s movie ‘Goldrush.’ Other Stars making a brief showing in this six minute film are Buster Keaton, Harold Lloyd (Character Studies is the only film in which Keaton and Lloyd acted together), Douglas Fairbanks, Roscoe Arbuckle and Jackie Coogan.
