Obviously, kaboom
Cartoon network old browser online game.
6 am Update: its called Toonix;
Its currently 02:33 in the morning, and I though about the old cartoon network website, I went to check the url to see what it was nowaydays only to get disappointed by being redirected at HBO max website.
That's not the point of the post, just context.
While thinking of the flash games I'd spend hours on, I remembered they had one of those online games for kids on the website, like ClubPenguin, MoshiMonsters, TooTown?(never played this one), yall get it.
It was, from what I remembered 100% free, no signature based things and stuff locked behind pay walls like the games mentioned above, and had a whole bunch of minigames in it (as any of those does).
In it, you had an avatar thats was a little guy with a big square head (I have a Mec Donald's toy of one of those guys I just need to find it, when u do ill update the post), you could roam around the world and talk to people, I think we had houses, and there was in-game currency you got by playing minigames if I'm not mistaken, or playing games on the website two (I think).
It had a animated map when you wanted to go somewhere, you hovered the mouse on it and it would play little animations and sounds.
There was also, a place in the map with a Photoboot, when you got to it, a pop-up appeared, saying that that place was for you to submit your character for them to show in the channel, and they really did, they would appear in add breaks right, the avatar and username right after a show would come back on (I submitted my avatar so many dam times in there but never made it to TV, rip).
I am trying to find the name of this things but all I can find so far is two games; "Fusionfall" and "mini match" and that's not it, it was played om the website itself, that's why you could have an account on it:
Top left corner, mind how broken it looks, my phone takes forever to load the page (photo taken from the internet archive, Cartoonnetwork.com on 2012)
From 2013, they don't have the login option anymore from what I've seen, so I think the game probably died somewhere before 2013 or at this year
The user login screen on the website (it looks broken, but I think it's because I'm on mobile, I wonder if I can still log on to my old account? I doubt they have the database).
I am currently trying to find this godam game as I write this post but Google ain't helping me much because everytime I search by cartoon network website games or MMO it gives me the usual flash games we had at the games tab and the two games I mentioned before.
I have very vivid memories of playing this thing and I got the Macdonalds toy somewhere (if I can't find this thing I'll see if I can find a picture om Google, ir game with a happy meal and you could take its head off and swap the body).
Does anyone else remembers this?
"Dr. Loud" Browser Game idea
As I previously showcased on this post, I made concept logos for "Dr. Loud". Recently, I had an idea for if it were some kind of a flash game Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network would've developed for their respective websites and apps.
PREMISE
Lincoln is sick, and it's up to you and Lisa to operate on Lincoln and find a cure.
GAMEPLAY
Like the "Dr. Mario" games, the game would be a puzzle game. From the start, you can choose between playing as Lisa, Leni, Luan, or Lana. Lucy can also be added as a possible unlockable character. But as far as gameplay, it's pretty much the same no matter who you play as (unless maybe Lisa, Lana, Lucy, and Luan could have some advantages if there were power-ups).
The Loud sister you chose will throw medicine capsules down the board and you must guide where the pill will land. Stack three of the same color on top of the virus with that same color and you get points as the virus disappears. For the PC version, you could simply use the keyboard or the mouse. For the mobile version, simply use your finger to drag the tablet as it slowly descends. Tap the screen to rotate the pill or if a character's energy meter is filled to the top, tap on it to activate their special attack.
MULTIPLAYER
The Story Mode can support 1-2 Players, mainly for its use of co-op. The multiplayer option can be done with about however many players can work, as far as tablets and mobile phones are concerned. It's also possible for online multiplayer support, depending on the capacity.
cartoon network web banners from 2001
If you ever played or heard of them. Would the An Ann n Anny versions of the Ed Edd n Eddy games (the online games that were on cartoon network website like the bumper cars one or the double d wrestling game Ect) be different or the same?
Have not played them.
Ideas for Dress-up games based on "The Loud House"
With "The Loud House" turning 8 next year, I figured this show could use a couple of dress up games. I have at least three ideas that can work right of the bat.
"Dress Up Leni Loud"
"Dress Up Lola Loud"
"Dress Up Carlota Casagrande"
In all three of them, the gameplay is mostly the same. Simply dress up any of these three characters by clicking on the outfit and dragging it onto them. The outfits are from the show itself, including books and other merchandise. For Leni, she can wear her outfits and maybe Lori's. Lola can wear her dresses and even her twin's clothing, but without the mud and dirt on it. And Carlota can wear any outfit from her closet, including the black suit and cap she had Ronnie Anne wear, and the city girl outfit she let Lori borrow.
Other customization options include jewelry (even if you want to take off their earrings, bracelets, and whatever.), lipstick, hair color, glasses, accessories, footwear, and even backgrounds (or just them in a transparent background). Basically anything you've seen if you ever played a dress up game or character creator.
"The Loud House" browser game idea based on "Frogger"
My mind's been on "Frogger" recently. The PlayStation version, if you will. Looking back, I've thought of a new idea for a web game that could work for Nick.com and CartoonNetwork.com. I don't know what to call it, but I was thinking it could be a "Frogger" clone where you play as Lana's frog, Hops. This is all I've got, but feel free to comment you have ideas to add on to what I've thought up so far.
