Recently went to Myanmar to read English to children for a school trip! Although it was super tiring it was also incredible to experience. Here are some photos I took because it was also art homework. c; Hope everyone’s having a great and productive week!

British School Manila continues partnership with One Million Lights + their CAS Week
British School Manila went last May 23 to a rural community in Tagaytay City with their Year 4 students to distribute 75 solar powered lights to 75 families. This visit they have done has very notable effect to the students and staff who spent quality time with the community as they donate one light for each family.
The solar panel lights donated by BSM make a real difference to the lives of…

That was my day!
February 14.
Most couples are having the time of their lives while I, on the other hand, am having mine as a single guy. Not that I am complaining or anything. It is nice to be that way. Much freedom.
I claimed that day to be mine. First thing in the morning, I attended the finals of CAS Jeopardy. Along with Sir Paeng and Shih, we dominated the game. At first, we were off to a rough start but come second round, we slayed the competition because of the movie and TV categories. Our streak continued until the third round resulting to us being the champion of the game! Oh yes! Hello there, P 9,000 and a certificate. We divided the prize among ourselves. I didn't know how I am gonna spend it then.
In the evening, I attended CAS Night to cap off the celebration of CAS Week. It is like a JS prom for our college. Although, I must admit that it isn't that fun. I would've enjoyed it better had they replaced the bands with a DJ and opened the dance floor at an earlier time. And yea, free-flowing alcohol would've pumped it up some more! Yes, there was a photobooth which was cool! This girl that I've been liking for quite some time now was there. And we talked a lot during the event. Sucks that I didn't get the chance to ask her to a dance tho.
That's not so bad after all. Sometime past 10 PM, she told me that she and her friends are going to Gramercy in Makati and asked me if I would like to come with them. Of course, I wouldn't say 'no' to that! I instantly said 'yes!' but inside my head I was screaming 'YAAAAAAAASSS!!' LOL. What a coincidence because I brought dad's van that time. Extra points, I thought. She sat next to me. I was kilig much while driving. LOL.
We then arrived in Makati and when we reached the place, it was too crowded with posh fellas. I was a bit culture-shocked to be honest. Like, celebrities and high-brow fellas are there!! A friend of hers suggested to go to The Fort Strip instead. Inside, I was anxious because it was my first time to drive in BGC and it was late at night! I did, eventually. We headed to Aracama. It was full so we had to wait for others to leave. After some time we get to enter the club. And it was aweeeesome! I had a bottle of beer (I wouldn't drink and drive!!). There was a DJ so we danced all night!
This Valentine's Day is actually one of my most memorable yet! Lot of great things and first times happened in a day!
Nakakapagod din kaya.
Kahapon pa masakit yung mga hita ko. huehue. Di na po talaga ako gagala at maglalakad nang maglalakad sa kung saan saan lalo na po sa part ng Manila. Ang sakit talaga nya.
February 16, 2013 - Day 3
The day started with the preparation for the CAS Film Festival. I arrived at school quarter to 8 but the call time's 7am. Supposedly, I will be a Camera Man but in some instances, sabi ni Zk wala na daw Camera Man na mangyayari. So I became an Usher or whatever. We were only given an hour to show the films submitted by the students. We thought that we will be short on time but it was all good. We delivered them all and every film/music video ends with an awesome applause. I think everyone enjoyed watching all the videos including the first time screening of Gising na Malayan Music video that was made by the CAS Productions which I am also a part of. Hooray for the team!
Then right after the CAS Film Fest, was the CAS Seminar with the Theme: Arts and Design in a World of Innovation with the guest speaker Joel Marmito. He discussed a lot of stuff regarding abilities and skills, his past life and experiences, recent works, inspirations and showed some tips on how to do this and that. It was good especially for us MMA students to know such information that would help us in our future career. Hindi ko naman sinasabi na hindi sya effective speaker pero, basta. It went well parin naman.
And for the most awaited part was the CAS Night, later that evening which I wasn't able to attend kasi may pununtahan ako. Sa birthday ni Steve actually at naging masaya rin naman! If only I could be in two places at a time. Para mas masaya. Haha Anyway, it was a wonderful week!
February 15, 2013 - Day 2
I left the house 30 mins before 8:30am for my 1st first class which is the usual thing I do. I thought I was super late until I reached school and ran upstairs (3rd floor) to catch things up, they're all gone. Akala ko wala ng class or something pero may attendance pa pala and we are required to watch Jeopardy -- which I really enjoyed. It was the same concept as the "Jeopardy" game but this time, they are in groups. I was hooked watching it and everybody in the auditorium was cooperative and having fun at the same time guessing the answers. Although we didn't finish the show because we still have class to attend, we really enjoyed watching it. Hoping to have more of those contests and stuff next school year.
We ate then off to our next class. I don't know but I have this mind set kindof thing that every Com105 class, I should listen and participate in every topic we're tackling. Hindi ko alam pero parang ganun yung laging situation na dapat makinig ako at iabsorb lahat ng sinasabi ng Prof. Maybe I'm just afraid to fail the course. Haha Then we dismissed early for the preparation of the Malayan Zombie Invasion -- which I volunteered myself as an umpire.
It was so cool-yo! Volunteered Zombies did really great in dressing up like a zombie ofcourse, plus their make-ups and props, they all achieved a scary look! The Runners also prepared themselves for the run of their lives~ as the facilitators arranged them into different waves. It was really awesome! Hindi nga lang kami nakasali sa last wave na mga volunteers ang runners, but it's okay, next time nalang kung mayroon pa. Haha Sa dami rin ng nasugatan, hindi na sure kung magkakaroon pa ng ganto next time. lol We weren't able to get our sandwiches because we left the field before others sa pagaakalang paglilinisin pa kami. Ayan tuloy nangyari. Haha Then we ate dinner at SP and left school around 8 or 9pm? Indeed a fun day for all of us!
