One of the great things about reading in an age of Pinterest and Youtube, you get something like convergence culture: the blending of old--the traditional print of the book--and new--book trailers and book-themed boards. CasaSugar created a slideshow of Night Circus-themed decor and these are some of my favorite rooms.
Most of them are done in black, white, and red: the colors of the night circus. The ice-block style of the bricks in the front entry is reminiscent of the ice garden tent. The giant clock statement piece is a nod to the clock that Herr Thiesen creates for the circus. The painted tree on the red wall of the living room is compared to Celia's wishing tree, where wishes are added to the tree by lighting a candle from existing lit candles and placing them back on the tree.
My favorite though, for obvious reasons, is the last one: the library. It's the only room in the selection that's not overwhelmingly black, white and red. Their selection of a green library is likened to Celia's gown that changes colors to match the person standing closest to her. The first time Celia and Marco kiss, Celia's gown changes to a mossy green that matches Marco's outfit.
