Connection Details: You know that one person who believes they're the smartest, sexiest person alive who can get whatever and whoever they want, even while being a massive tool? That's this character. Back near the beginning of the current 2025-2026 school year, the two came together to work on a collaboration project for their students to work on and show at the end of the school year. With Nilay being an Near East and Central Asian Studies professor, I picture the other to be a professor in a similar department, may it be a Classical professor, an Islamic Studies professor, a Judaic Studies professor, or Asian Studies professor. The two had come up with doing an cultural fair where their students each picked out a specific civilization to study on, then present a study of them to show at the fair, along with foods and cultural performances, causing them to work together a lot and growing close.

However, this muse had developed another goal in mind: they wanted Nilay. Yet both to how in love she is with her then-partner/now-ex and how focused she was on the project, she was ignorant to their advances, even though her partner wasn't. After Nilay's relationship crumbled and rumours started spreading on campus about something being between these two, Y/M had thought they struck gold—until Nilay canceled the fair and cut contact with them. I picture this wc to honestly just be a sleazy scumbag and asshole who views Nilay as more of a conquest and a goal than as an actual person; 100% she's going to develop a deep hatred for them after realizing their true intentions and that they were never really friends.

Connection Details: I'm happy to adjust after plotting, but what I envision for this connection is that they met while she was temporarily living in France. What was supposed to be a fun summer fling turned into something more, feelings creeping up on them both before they even fully realized it. They decided to make an attempt at building something together with Céleste staying put for longer than she had since leaving Cascade. For her, it was a whirlwind of feelings and love and everything that she hadn't been planning for, and for a while Céleste believed that they might hold a future. They got engaged after barely a year of seeing each other, but the deeper they got into planning their wedding and their lives together, the clearer it became that perhaps their visions of the future weren't entirely aligned. In what way is completely up to plotting, but one idea is that Céleste always knew that she'd find her way back to Cascade, but that they weren't willing to come with her. Totally happy to workshop ideas and adjust according to how you might see them and what their relationship is like now - be it completely platonic, antagonistic, or holding potential for a rekindling of feelings!

Connection Details: I'm leaving this connection intentionally open for anyone who wants to take it and am happy making adjustments to Céleste's background as necessary. The basics of what I have is that she grew up in a happy, loving family - with the vineyard always being the forefront of this parent's attention and dreams but in a way that included their entire family rather than casting them aside. Céleste always wanted to follow in their footsteps and take part in the legacy that they were creating - and although she left Cascade for a while to discover herself and her own passions, she always knew that she was coming back to help take on more responsibility at Onyx Vines. I'm happy to have Céleste be their biological child, be adopted, etc. - and would love to discuss their dynamic and relationship more if you're interested!

Connection Details: The main idea for this connection is that he is the brother of Bellamy’s best friend who lives elsewhere. Gender of the sibling I’d leave up to you as they’d be your character’s family dynamics. Your character is in Cascade, either recently moved or needed a place to stay, and has been renting a room from Bellamy for 2-3 months now. There’s a mutual attraction between your character and Bellamy that makes for awkward moments, looking away hoping they don’t get caught staring, and them spending more and more time together. As the tension grows the thing between them gets louder. Your character’s sibling and Bellamy’s best friend. Ideally I’d love to muse and headcanon this connection and add depth to it. It’s fun and flirty and plenty of room for some drama and jealousy. I am so weak for the possible growth and development!

They grew up in a very loving cottage in Santa Cruz alongside Calla and their great-nan. Taught him how to be independent, supported his interests, and just showered him with an infinite amount of love. Ideally, have a very candid and open line of communication. Made sure he kept his head on straight and graduated from high school. What they do post high school is UTP! Personality, interests, and everything else are UTP; what brought them to Cascade, or whether they just stayed in step with Calla, works as well.
