I tried to get one standard-ish set and adjusted the images to be the proper printing size. I do not use the CP template with the exception of one cover. Unfortunately CP doesn’t have all the covers available yet, so it’s not as useful for me. Download mine here.

4) Cut card holder from case - I used a knife at first, but then switched to an oscillating tool. 

5) Cut area for manual in case (optional) - If you have the manuals you need to trim the cases a bit more. The Nintendo Age article shows where but it’s pretty easy to figure out. I used an Xacto knife for this.

5) Using a knife, foam cutter or laser cutter (if your foam is laser safe) cut one of each of these templates: - Front: LINK (with vb logo) or LINK (without vb logo) - Back: LINK I made the templates so that when I layered foam (backs in red, front in black) the red text would show through the black for the virtual boy logo. I used a virtual boy font that I found here. The cartridge with lower cover should fit with just a little tension provided from the foam. When done the covers and foam will fit perfectly in each case. You can glue the foam if you like, but I saw no need. P.S: Yes, I realize the game showing in the top photo is not Virtual Baseball. It’s T&E’s Virtual Golf.

P.P.S: Another idea I had is to cut the holes for the letters into the back portion and use a black case. You then see the full cont by using the case as the center portions. If you use black backing and red fronts, you can accomplish the same with the red cases. It will then show the letters on 3 layers (crazy 90′s 3d!).

One Step Forward

One step forward and hopefully no steps back. It’s good to know that even though this world can be full of a lot of hate there are still people who care, or don’t mind at least. Some were slightly skeptical when the potential Mr. Mistletoe was set on being escorted by his boyfriend, but that seemed to fade when -here’s a shocker- nothing changed. Life went on as normal. People danced and had fun and the world kept right on turning. The Mr. Mistletoe winner had his boyfriend at his side and the student body didn’t seem to mind

Things change, people change. and maybe this one step forward will lead to another and then another. Maybe our generation, as wild as we may be, will be more accepting, even if it takes just one step at a time.

Singing and dancing and thieving, oh my! Rhythm City kicked off with a bang Wednesday night and drew in crowds for the rest of the week that it was showing. It was fun and upbeat, slightly angsty, with just a pinch of romance. Oh, and loads of singing of course. What good is a musical if people don’t break out into song to express their feelings? Tender moments and almost happiness are foiled when Louie gets involved.

“My favorite part of playing Louie was being the main antagonizer. Without Louie, without what he did, the play wouldn’t have happened.” TJ Duncan, the actor who played Louie, said. “The play being over is bittersweet. I’m going to miss it but now I’ve got time for homework.”

Warriors For The Win

It was an epic win for our Warriors who went out and kicked some... soccer balls. The game was long and tiring but in the end it was well worth it for these guys, who have had a long season climbing their way up to this point. It was the first state win for the Philomath boys Soccer team and the school couldn’t be more proud to have another win under its belt, proving that while Philomath is small, its still a force to be reckoned with. Senior striker Jorge Sanchez said “It wasn’t really expected from the beginning of the season but we were hoping for it, we at least wanted to get as far as last year.” Well it seems they grabbed that goal and ran with it until they reached beyond it. “It took a couple of days to set in,” says Senior Jayce Guenther, left defence, “right now its the coolest thing I’ve ever done.” The boys are quite proud and we’re proud of them, not only for winning state but for playing strong throughout the bumpy season. Congratulations Philomath Boys Soccer team.
