I know this is kind of off topic but why do people keep saying this abut Casey at top 8 versus Rudy? Casey had an amazing routine with Kathryn, Rudy had kind of a blah routine with Jenna (who is amazing but voters hate for some reason), and to top it off it was ballroom which even if done well never goes down well with voters. I don't understand why that was a shock??

For some, Casey had a blah routine with Kathryn while Rudy had the amazing routine (and I’m in that camp; I thought Rudy and Jenna were great while Casey’s was on the better side of good). Rudy was also a popular contestant who hadn’t hit the bottom before, and Casey had been in the bottom since Top 20.

Asaf is definitely the new Casey in how much people hate him, not at all in dance ability though.

But I never hated Casey. I just felt there were better dancers that should have stayed over him, but he is not remotely like Asaf.
