Fun fact #1: Notice that Durwin has two different wheelchairs. The one you can see in the bottom picture is wooden, while the one above is not. The wooden one was basically a box with wheels and armrests; it was meant to look somewhat homemade. However, the creators of the show were not happy with it (Brannon Braga described it as “the fakest looking wheelchair [he’s] ever seen”), and so they created another, improved one.
Fun fact #2: You can see Durwin’s leg in the bottom picture because he doesn’t wear pants normally. I’m assuming the reason for that is that Peter Lamb needed to be able to put his legs into the wheelchair.
Fun fact #3: Do you see the people sitting on the front porch of the house behind Durwin in the first picture? That is a house next to the Shannons’, so I’m guessing those are their neighbors (or their neighbors’ visiting friends).
