Archer executive producer Casey Willis breaks down the charmingly chilly season 11 finale.
It’s definitely been a very memorable season for Archer. The show’s 11th year has successfully pulled Sterling Archer out of his multi-season coma and forced both him and his inner-circle to adjust to the many changes that they’ve faced. This season has featured Archer at his most alone and miserable, but it’s also highlighted a newly repentant side of the character. Against all odds, Archer has actually been able to exhibit personal growth, demonstrate newfound maturity, and even think about people other than himself. He also has a kick-ass new cane.
“Cold Fusion,” the season finale, features a massive story that feels fitting as the conclusion to this satisfying run of episodes...

Slick’s Nit-Picks: Archer, The Complete Season Two (Blu-Ray)
The second season of Archer had it all: love, betrayal, sex, money, murder and fight clubs. Yes, there really was a fight club and the ISIS crew will never be able to scrub the vision of a naked Pam about to beat the snot out of Malory from their memories. Fortunately, we fans never have to forget it either with the release of the complete second season on video. Relive all the action, all the…
The beloved FX animated spy series hasn’t yet been renewed for Season 8 by the network, so the producers prepared for the worst.
Spoilers ahead.
So Mr. Producers are saying that if Season 8 doesn’t happen Veronica Dean’s four 22-9MM slugs to Archer’s would be his end? Are we talking about the same Archer? The Archer who by season 5 had sustained a considerable amount of injuries, and by this logic should have been dead by S1E3? Well I have faith Season 8 with come around and open with Archer on another binder. I’m hoping that switching it up and have Archer on the hunt to find Woodson because he’s AJ’s has never had Egg-O-Woodhouse….and he’s sick of his chores but I degres. I for this super fan who tallied Archers injuries up to season 5.

Throughout 5 seasons, Archer has sustained a considerable amount of injuries, so I decided on this watch-through to make a comprehensive list of every injury Archer has suffered. Included in this list is every impact and jolt ranging from slaps and microchips to grenades and gunshots. Injuries in bold indicate life-threatening incidents, defined as damage to major organs or severe trauma. Numerous counts of vomiting were not counted as vomiting isn’t technically an injury in and of itself.
Archer’s Injuries
Life-threatening injuries - 13
Non life-threatening injuries - 123
Gunshot wounds – 14, 16 if you count a spear gun and a bean shot. Old wound from when he was 18 counted, despite not occurring while employed at ISIS.
Stabbing injuries – 2, 3 if a spear gun is counted here. Ninja star included in stabbage.
Explosions - 5
Concussions - 4
Fainting/unconsciousness - 6
Poisonings - 1

Theres a few missing I know, but my point is Archer doesn’t die and if he did it would be because he allowed it, or Lana finally snaps. This is not the end for Archer. And knowing Krieger there had to be more bots roamng around.
