Faimkills Set Off "Pterodactyl Jones" LA Release Party
“Pterodactyl Jones” have pretty damn dedicated fans, to say the least. At the trio’s album release party in Los Angeles, fans came out early to support and soak in the special talent of performers. Those that arrived the earliest we’re treated to a performance from Faimkills.
A rapper from San Bernardino who does the Inland Empire proud, because being the first act up is usually a tough task but not for FK. After performing a wide range of tracks off his debut album “Thrashed Out” he stayed the entire show to sell merch which Kodcastlive purchased three t-shirts due to his jaw dropping and hand throwing opening set. “Thrashed Out” was thrown in from Faimkills for free during the merch purchase, but since it’s available on Spotify. Kodcast.tv is giving out the album as part of a mini-contest.
“Thrashed Out” is an album released earlier this year, mixed and mastered by David May, consisting of twelve tracks, only featuring Stevie Crooks, and is mainly produced by Captain but contains OhGoshLeotus and Villain beats. This is an album and an artist that needs to be heard, if approached with an open mind, Faimkills can soon become a hometown favorite.
“Jardín Botánico” was performed Thursday and it was a fan favorite. For those new to the artist watch the video put together Platform Collection.

The “Pterodactyl Jones” featured only dope performances. After Faimkills, there was Quiz, who apparently is in with the same clique as Glasses Malone. Then there was Cash Lansky, who came all the way from Tucson, Arizona, that’s an eight hour drive (one-way) to perform for the event in Leimert Park at the Kaos Network, which was hosted by Verbs.
Other rappers that went onstage, were KR, who released an album this year that contained production from Pterodactyl Jones’ Curtiss King. Miss Bliss marveled the minute she hit the stage as she brought on her lady reinforcements in Dawn Gun, and Oracle Jayne Doe from The Sistem Crew. Miss Bliss will be releasing new album soon and once it’s out all other rappers, doesn’t matter what sex, need to beware but because based off her live show alone Miss Bliss is a force to be reckon with. Stay caught up with her by checking out Homegrownradio.net.
The second to last performer was, Raven Sorvino, who allegedly lived down the street from the venue located at 4343 Leimert Blvd. in LA but is originally from Texas. Sorvino ended her set with such a killer track everyone in the room was feeling it. The last performers of the night, were none other than the two men of the hour, Curtiss King King and Noa James along with their Dj, Dxsko are the unforgettable “Pterodactyl Jones.”
The “PTJ” set list consisted of tracks off the brand new album including first, “Asshole,” where Curtiss spits a verse as if he is Wolverine, which is the artist’s favorite Marvel character because of his adamantium. In the same song, Noa James raps as if he is Juggernaut, it’s uncertain whether that is the Young Orca’s favorite Marvel character but one thing is definite; “PTJ” will be performing at least twice in LA next month.
