realistic headcanon: homeschooled for most of his childhood but decided to attend university to study art and humanities. the only reason why he didn’t take science or math is because he was already a master of those subjects thanks to lisa and dracula

AND I KNOW I’VE MENTIONED THIS BEFORE but i really do think he would want to work as a local doctor once things calm down and he’s not committing patricide

not realistic but hilarious headcanon: alucard doesn’t necessarily have an aversion to human blood but because he rarely drank it while growing up, he can’t drink too much of it now otherwise it turns him into a goofy, hiccuping mess then he passes out from a food coma five minutes later  

heart-crushing and awful headcanon: he tried giving lisa a respectful burial by going back to the clinic ruins in lupu, finding her locket, and properly burying it while lighting a candle and reciting a mourning prayer in her memory. it helped, but he knew it wasn’t the same

unrealistic indulgent headcanon: he won’t admit it, but alucard likes transforming into his tiny bat form and camping out either in sypha’s hood or in trevor’s shirt

Oh dear god, yes. Sounds like me in school, trying to field all the “do you worship Satan/are you a goth” questions. “I’m not a goth, I just like black and listening to rock music!”

...Punk. The word you were looking for was punk, smaller Tru.

yeah i've wondered about this email too. Considering Koller's a punk, i thought he may have been involved in an activist group in the past that ended up possibly coordinating or having some kind of involvement with local government somehow

I;m wondering just how long the hengsha one is going to be :))

like, decently long, I think? It’s a slow burn with the usual stealthy cyberpunk plot to tie it all together :p

(and also there’s a bunch of misc. quiet scenes that kind of exist nebulously in the time line that didn’t quite make the cut for the actual story that I still want to draw out because I live for quiet moments between characters)

I am always looking up to people that can schedule posting their artworks for a longer period of time, it seems so impossible! I always get too excited to share and usually post on the same day I finish it. And then I spam you all. :”D

@czigonas​ I’m willing to bet this kind of stuff crossed the mind of at least some of the devs since these kinds of issues are bound to come up when you do research for this kind of story, but ultimately they are writing a cyberpunk fantasy more than hard sci fi so they take some liberties

oh yeah, absolutely. you don’t want to bog down your players with network security minutae anymore than you want to hang them up in the actual physics of Jensen’s nanoblades or the weird biology of his pheromone persuasion tricks.

still, I wonder how much of it really did cross their minds. same with the total abandonment of the elder Jensens and Michelle. how much is keeping the story moving and how much is “no one will care”?
