Hilda, as usual, had trouble concentrating on the task she was given. Working in the casino wasn’t something she very much enjoyed,so even a simple task as cleaning the tables was too much for her. Instead, she sat on one of the lounge couches with a drink. There was nothing else of interest to her here, until she saw Cagney walk in. She immediately perked up and walked over to him.

“Hey Cags! What are you doing in this shithole? You din’t come just to see lil’ ol’ me did you?”

Well, being stuck in hell sucked. Especially because the Devil keeps nagging at her to do work in the casino. Who does he think he is? Just because he owns her soul now doesn’t mean she’s going to obey his commands. The only pro of being here is that she can raid the food cabinets whenever she’s feeling hungry. She was munching on some cookies when she noticed King Dice making her way to her. Her face grimaced. “What do you want from me, dice head? If you’re here to tell me to “do my job” then save yourself the trouble of even thinking about telling me this because the answer will be no.”

Hilda was so caught up in being agitated that she’s stuck as a casino worker now that it didn’t even cross her mind yet that there’s some familiar faces she has to call her colleagues now. When she saw Lottie checking in in the casino to start her job Hilda felt a little relieved when she realized she’ll at least have one person she can share her woes with. She walks up to Lottie and decides to just break the news straight to her as it is, no beating around the bush. “Hey Lottie, guess we’re coworkers now, eh?”

Working in the casino sucks big time. But she got to enjoy the performances that were being held there. At least during these performances she could relax a little. Hilda was sitting in the lounge with a martini cocktail, listening to the current performance being held by a certain moth. When she was done singing and walking off the stage past Hilda, Hilda couldn’t help but drop a comment. “Nice performance, makes my time in this hellhole more bearable. What does your schedule look like so I know when to ditch my work and come relax here?”

Hilda sat at a table obviously ignoring the work that was given to her and was nonchalantly eating food she stole from the pantry. She just took a big bite of a sandwich she had made when she saw a patron approaching her. She doesn’t even take the effort to chew and swallow her food first before talking, spitting out bread crumbs with every word. “And who the fuck are you?
