I KNOW i know, it is, it's true :| just as the prevalence of slash in fandom is partly due to (internalized) misogyny, and the lack of queers in canon is heteronormativity, AND basically our society is fucked and our pop culture and derivative works thereof reflect that. really what i meant to say was that having now seen the show, that pairing is less out of left field than i had previously assumed, which was kind of a pleasant surprise.

it looks like a cute fun show. i’ve seen a couple of episodes when i was younger but never really got into it

it's very cute and also fun! it's basically just adorable shenanigans all the time. if "crime comedy" sounds like a genre you'd enjoy then it's definitely worth watching.
