1. How and why did you join kickball? 

I saw some friends post pictures of themselves playing kickball, so I asked my friend Michelle to join a league with me in January 2012. 2. How many season have you played? Since January 2012, 10 seasons (mostly in Huntington Beach, but since summer of this year, I started playing in other leagues as well - Long Beach, Fullerton, Anaheim, and San Clemente). 3. What is your favorite position in kickball? 2nd base, but I'll play any position except catching. 4. Best moment in kickball?

Becoming CA SMASH's summer 2013 league champs! 5. Worst moment in kickball? Took one of the worst slides ever and the ref made a bad call and said I was out, despite being covered in blood. 6. League/team with the best looking opposite sex (can be in any other league if you played in others or past players in current league)?

Haha, I'm a big fan of the guys in HB. 7. Favorite drink/shot/beer?

Jack and Coke, Jameson and ginger ale, and Shirley Temples 8. Favorite bar?

WEEK 3 PREDICTIONS

So Bad News Brues actually didn't have to forfeit a game due to the lack of players! With a 3-0 win in the first game, it seems as though they slacked off a bit in the 2nd game since NKOTB finally put a run on the board, with the game ending at 1-2 to BNB. 

Rumor has it though, that a few of the BNB players will be missing tomorrow, so will they have forfeit yet another game? We'll have to wait and see!

GMOT - Tomorrow's Predictions

Bad News Brues won the first game of the season with 5-2. However, due to the lack of players, they were forced to forfeit in the 2nd game, resulting in a forfeit. Despite the forfeit, the game continued and BNB won again with 6-1, thanks to some players from New Kicks on the Block subbing. Hopefully for tomorrow's games, more of the players from BNB will show up and make things interesting! Will the missing players hinder or improve their game? We'll just have to see!

Week Two Challenges

Bar Challenge: Flip Cup!

A minimum of 4 players on each team, a max of 10! Best of 5 rounds, winning team earns 5 points and losing team earns 3! Remember, each team must provide their own beer! Photo Challenge of the week: Team jumping picture! Must include at least 5 teammates and everyone must be in the air. Post the picture onto the CA SMASH Facebook page. You'll earn 15 points for this!

Fall Season Bar Points

BAR POINTS The team with the most bar points will win a $100 bar tab at the end of the season!

There are several ways to earn bar points:  - 1 point each person for showing up to the bar  - 5 points to teams if they show up to the games dressed up in costumes; could be anything - super heroes, neon, 80s, onesies - as long as you get 8 or more to dress up; players must post to the CA SMASH Facebook page by the end of the day.   - 5 extra points if you can get the team you’re playing against to dress up in costumes with you; must have at least 8 players on both teams dressed up to get the points; and both teams must take a group picture together and post to the CA SMASH Facebook page by the end of the day.  - Photo challenge - points vary, based on task; players must post to the CA SMASH Facebook page by the end of the day.  These are just some of the ways you can earn bar points, but we'll be playing bar games through out the season that can earn you more! In each game, each team must provide their own beer!
