I just now realized the way that I'm writing this rewrite is literally my version of s3 of Skam 😗😶

Esp since the way I wanna shoot is legit the way Skam is shot 😬😬😬 oh dearrrrr

Besides that, the overall story is getting put together for its 2nd draft and then hopefully after that, I'll get out my index cards and board to visually put it together and then properly work on dialogue 😅😅😅

Everything looks pretty good and I am genuinely excited to make this into its own thing and maybe film it??? Idk how itll happen with this COVID shit going down, esp since I don't wanna make anyone work or uncomfortable just so I can make this thing a reality....

But as a progress note, all I have to do after writing this episode is revise all the episodes so it flows better and doesn't have all of the same exact lines from the original show. But considering I've diverged so heavily from ep7, I can safely say the last couple eps are v different from the OG. Also I've gotta revise it so it better fits for a low-budget team hehe 😅😅 I've no money and gear and im still relatively new in the filming process so

So about that 2gether the series w|w rewrite,

It's going pretty well! I'm 45 pages in and rewatching the episodes made it oh so clear the exact point when everything for the story went downhill.

Ep8.

From there it just plummeted in quality. So seeing how quick I am to rewatching these eps and basically throwing out the whole thing to write it differently is cathartic.

It def helped that I got rid of MilxPhukong's storyline. And yes have I said this multiple times in more than one post? Yes. Will I ever stop mentioning it? No because I fucking hated their storyline 🙂

In replacement of them, I'm diving deeper into the more long term relationship of Green and Dim's by extending that argument they had in ep7. Not as a petty argument that serves no purpose, no, an argument that really asks questions about what they want in the relationship moving forward.

I've dramatically changed how ManType's relationship is going to start and honestly? I thought it wasn't going to start off v well. But the more I write it, the more it's vibing 👌

It's 8:50am and im going to go and finish an ep or 2 for writing. And then after that, I'll revise and clean it up so I can reedit it into another script for a series.

Just so you know the way I'm writing this is legit like an adaptation from Skam? So everything im rewriting is fitted for a Westerner, diverse mindset. I've had to changed things because they werent common in American culture so oof

Guys I'm on pg 23!!! I'm on ep5!! And its finally diverging away from the main storyline, lots of things are changing the way the scenes were done in the show....this is exciting but it's also pushing me to parts where I gotta ask myself: would this make sense? Is this a good enough scene? How much should I change before it doesn't mean anything?

It's a bit of a different ballpark when I'm adding the 2nd couple bc of the fact that im changing its dynamic a bit so its a bit more stable. As well as completely deleting Mil and Phukong's storyline, oof 😶😶😶😶
