“House of Payne” Revival Series Coming to BET
Tyler Perry has officially announced that House of Payne revival series is coming to BET. The series is said to pick up five years after the original series with the retired Curtis Payne and his wife Ella still navigating life with their family. Returning stars include LaVan Davis, Cassi Davis Patton, Lance Gross, Demetria McKinney, China Anne McClain, Larramie “Doc” Shaw, Keshia Knight Pulliam, and Allen Payne.
In related news, Tyler Perry’s Assisted Living series has also been greenlit at BET. In Tyler Perry’s Assisted Living, Jeremy loses his job and so he, his wife, and their three teenage kids move to Georgia to help Jeremy’s Grandpa Vinny fix up and run a home for the elderly with the added assistance(?) of new investors Mr. Brown and his daughter Cora. This new series will star David Mann, Tamela Mann, J. Anthony Brown, Na’im Lynn, Courtney Nichole, Tayler Buck, and Alex Henderson.
