yeahhh. I mean don't get me wrong i love our ladies. Like Meg's storyline? very happy with it (i could have done without them killing her off but hey she had a good long run I'm not going to complain). Abaddon? hells yeah. and let's not forget about CHARLIE MOTHERFUCKING BRADBURY

but just man this show just likes to throw women in to revolve around the men. And if their storylines aren't romantic they get killed off b/c no one likes them. *loud cough* bela talbot. and if they are romantic then they get killed off anyway. because apparently whatever the focus the writers cannot bear to work with a long-standing female character? (long standing being more than 2 or 3 seasons) getting pretty done with it tbh

starting from the beginning: jessica moore. who was amazingly rad in the less-than-5-minutes we knew her (and has provided for some of the best spn fics in my opinion). but yes was at her core a tragedy to move sam's storyline along (not complaining; it was completely nessecary, but yes making my point)

cassie whatever-her name. woc. revolved around dean. screamed a lot. kinda bitchy. pretty annoying in my opinion. but yeah held her own pretty well. didn't take crap from dean. aaannnddd she was a one-off.

sarah motherfucking blake. i think the whole fandom can agree that she was perf, no? storyline revolved pretty heavily around sam but man she was gr9. clever, brave, kind, didn't take shit but did it in a graceful manner. anyway she clearly had her own character outside of being with sam so i think she's a prime example of a+ spn women. looked like a one-off but oh wait what did the writers do? they brought her back which was AMAZING until they KILLED HER

i know i'm missing/skimming over some but whatever. madison i think, werewolf girl in s2? she was decently okay, character-wise. but pretty much existed for a nice little tragedy in sam's storyline (and the writer's one-sex-scene-per-season policy. which doesn't exactly bother me b/c come on look at those boys but shhhh not my point)

oh and there was that ghost girl in Roadkill, what was her name? marcy? molly, that's it, molly. she was really interesting and emotional, i liked her a lot... but her storyline revolved yet again around loving someone. and a tragedy. seeing a pattern yet?

and ruby ofc. who is one of the more badass and awesome. seemed to exist exclusively for sam until the end, when she kicked him to the curb and had apparently been using him the whole time. so yes ruby was v good. but really did sort of exist just to fuck around with sam's head. *whispers* tragedy

jo harvelle yeaaaaa buddy. she was a good one. loved dean to the end of her days, but also held her own. saved their assbutts like 50000 times. awesome example of lady with a romantic storyline, whose entire storyline didn't revolve around romance. and um her mom? yes badassery ELLEN HARVELLE WAS AMAZING

anna. her storyline was alright, i suppose, i don't remember all of it?

sherriff mills YES she's the a++ bomb

but yeah in general i'm just really angry over ladies' roles in supernatural and really tired of typing now but just UGH they could do so so much better.

the one and only thing that i have consistently gotten angry over on spn is how sexist the show can be sometimes (that and how racist it can be but that's a whole different can of worms)

21: Did you fall in love in 2013?

I did not. I have a longtime (like 2yr) crush on a friend that is finally beginning to fade out and a couple of casual crushes, but nothing big. I’m actually pretty grateful. Love can be stressful :)

22: What was your favourite tv program?

It’s a toss-up between Doctor Who and Supernatural. I love them both so dearly, but as of right now, Doctor Who (even though it’s ripping my heart out hahaha). I can see myself being a fan and watching it longer than Supernatural, but I really did love season 8 (esp the finale) and this is such a hard choice to make! However, I think Doctor Who produced really, really good content this year; the 50th was a real treat and I don’t think I’m ever going to forget it. <3

23: Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year?

I’d like to say that I don’t hate anyone, and I think that’s true. There are a couple people I dislike, but if anything I’m actually more at peace with them now than ever.(I have acquired some new characters that I really don’t like. *hisses* Naomiiiiiii)
