However I’ll take some days to think about it… Becuase I  was wondering that  I should have to change all the tags, pages etc and this will take a lot of work, now I really have no time! I kept checking your blog to see if you had replied already ahaha yeah, your blog is super clean and organised! ^_^ and the wedding, god. I don't think I've seen two people more happy to be getting married than them. Or a groom prouder of his bride. Honestly, CP was close to tears the whole time! And the speeches!! Carl Philip's "Sofia, du är bäst. Jag älskar dig" and the way he said it ugh like she's super precious to him. And I LOVED the song, the melody was super pretty and his reaction!!!

further: Also thank you for the quotes and the background story. CP mentioned that in his speech but I didn't really know what he was talking about. I think Sofia (and her dad/family btw) is a true feminist bc she doesn't have any regrets, she says she's lived life in the fullest and it's her body, it's her life, so there's nothing to shame or criticise. Besides, she's done such wonderful work in Ghana and Cape Town that it's unfair to forget all that bc of some photos. And I read somewhere that CP really stood up for her when she was being criticised by the media ( which btw must've been horrible, I'd never leave the house, probably) but I couldn't find anything about it :/ Sorry this was so long! xx

Sorry for taking a while but I hadn’t much time for tumblr the last two days. And thank you for the compliment! Don’t talk about the wedding, I’ll be a mess again. Everything was just so sweet and perfect! Carl Philip was so proud of her, I mean you can tell by his look. That poor cupcake was nervous as hell waiting in that church and was overwhelmed when he saw her. And the speech + song were just the icing on the cake. 

You’re very welcome! And I LOVE her dad! His speech was awesome. I mean it seemed like he’s doing it each weekend. So badass! But okay, I mean he and Marie raised her. I would be surprised if it’d be another way. And I share your opinion about Sofia’s past. Glad that many people started watching behind it because they realize how awesome that lady is. Her work impresses me each and every time.   

Yeah he did! Their relationship is such a give and take. Both support each other so well. He once said: “What the press says is absolutely not true! Sofia was hung out (by the media) to dry in a bullying type of way...” 

“For me it's pretty boring, it happened 10 years ago and I've moved on with my life.” Sofia is a tough woman! ;) :)

I used to not care too much about Carl Phillip and Sofia. They were sweet but didn't catch my eye. Until the wedding. I FUCKING LOVE THEM NOW!!! And I've been stalking your blog the past few days looking for more cute stuff but I think I've seen it all (btw, the wedding tag is just dpoighçiuafdhig AND I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY'RE HAVING A BABY). So I just wanted to ask if you remember any cute moments/stories about them throughout the years, since I just got on board now ahahah also, awesome blog! xx

I think it’s awesome that people start to see how awesome Sofia is. I think the wedding was a big transition for many. But it has also been my favorite. The wedding was fantastic and I just can’t wait for baby slay. I’m so happy and excited for them it’s crazy. 

Well, there are many “moments” I love. I can make a gifset of some if you want to? But it will take a few days because my schedule (has been) is crazy. I try my best to post it during the weekend, hopefully. 

My favorite Sofia quote has always been:

“I’m here for the most beautiful reason in the world, and it’s love. As long as our love’s strong I am strong.”  

I just love their whole love story! I mean did you know that they tried to fall out of love with each other since they knew that it would be a struggle for them because of the press and Sofia’s background? But as you see, it didn’t work out. And how Sofia helped him to become “less shy” and she really supported him and she knew that he actually has many good qualities. He’s more open, also towards the press and his dyslexia now.  

“Carl Philip is my best friend. He’s the person I talk the most to. He’s so smart and I feel so secure with him.“ 

 “I feel extremely confident, stable and balanced when Sofia is by my side. And I’ve felt that way from the beginning.“

Do you know if Christian, Isabella, Josephine and Vincent can speak english? Whenever I hear Mary speaking danish so well I feel so proud and I wish her kids could speak her native language, if only a little ahah

I don’t know how strong the twins are in English just yet (but they do know some – remember how Máxima gave Vincent a high five at the morning wake up? She also said something to him and he nodded), but both Christian and Isabella are basically fluent. They’ve been babysitted by Mary’s dad several times and again, at QMII75, Bella was talking to Mathilde and Christian with Máxima :) Regardless, Christian should be taking English lessons in school by now – Bella might even be as well (they’ve recently lowered the age at which English is introduced in schools – I started in like... year four or five or something like that but IIRC they’ve lowered it to year one or two) so rest assured, they’re going to be fluent all right :)
