Like literally ages ago for a drawing prompt someone said I should draw Spazzcat as they would appear in Casting Rain. Which then prompted a bunch of research and a long conversation with one of my roommates that inspired a short CR spin off that may or may not ever be written!
Fun times!
So aside from the information above:
Spazzcat is about chest-height to Brigg - a large bean! And strong. They’ve been known to have some of their smaller unit-mates perch on the end of their pick there so they can use the momentum to toss them farther. The tail can crudely grab things no matter how long it gets. Not with the same strength as a third arm or something like that, but they can definitely wrap around an ankle and trip someone. They do in fact have way too many knives, especially since one of the knives is always available no matter how many times it’s been used or thrown. Aside from the growing tail, it’s the only form of magic Spazzcat has.
They’re helpful in small fights, but recognize they don’t have the stamina it takes for long battles - thus slating them for use as a part of one of Thetis’s reconnaissance teams. Unable to read or understand human language, they mostly function as the muscle of the group, getting the rest of their unit in and out of tight spaces. They’re a big baby about pain, and will often complain about feet hurting from walking so far, arms hurting from carrying teammates for too long, and any minuscule wound they could possibly receive. They’ve accomplished a lot of small good, but nothing noteworthy enough to be honored with rank or title.
Their team is made up of themselves, a ninja mouse, a fox creature named Fennec, and a small newly summoned elemental, affectionately nicknamed Heats.
