Map of the Castle, by Mark Zug
Royal Caste Infrastructure
The Royal Palace is home to the Dreemurr royal family that have ruled over the monster race for generations. The architecture has an occupancy of about 1,500, and is the hallmark of the Monster Capitol. It is complete with three bedroom towers- the center tower being reserved for special guests while the others are accomodated only for royal family members. The towers themselves have three different floors situated for different needs, and the top floor holds the bedroom itself. Its barracks house the royal guard and other castle staff when necessary. The castle's prison dwells deep into the basement of the castle, where it may house a few hundred prisoners. Overall, it's one giangantic structure as if it has own tiny civilization living inside!
Just uploaded a set of isometric maps to roll20, they can be purchased here! I’’m really happy with this set and looking forward to doing more isometric art.

I use them in my own magical girls campaign.
Beautiful, detailed map of the castle in Ico, created by Nomad Colossus using screen captures and Photoshop.
Apologies for the angle of the shot. I was in a hurry. You can see it more clearly on Nomad Colossus’ YouTube channel by following this link -

Are there children's rooms in the castle.
There are some rooms included in the sets of apartments in the Castle that would have been used, or intended for use, by the children of visiting dignitaries or the original Bernhard family. However, many of these chambers have been unused for many years.
While a resident, Laura was one of the few that made use of these areas in the Castle.
