Times Square

linking arms when walking around together - Richard Castle x reader

The two of you are walking through Times square, it was incredibly busy, bustling with tourists and street performers. But as you walked Richard had linked his arms through yours so as not to lose you in the crowd. The reason you had come down here was because his latest book was being advertised on the screens on Time square and he wanted to get a picture of himself and you with it to post on his social media to say that he had spotted it. His manager had told him earlier this morning about the fact that it was happening and so he had waited until you had finished work to drag you out here to do it. You didn’t have to wait long, as the whole of Time square lit up with advertising of the latest Richard Castle book, and reviews. Both you and Richard pull out your phones and angle it right so that you can get the pictures you want, making sure to take a couple before you drop Richard’s arm and take a video of him and the billboards all advertising his book a wide smile on his face and you can’t help but say

“I’m so proud of you baby” and he turns to you and beams at you whispering his thanks.

Pressing their face into the other’s neck, hiding from the world – Richard Castle x reader

It had been a long time since you had found yourself needing the comfort of your father’s embrace, but here you were. You had been at work when you had received the call that your fiance had been killed in the line of duty. You’d quickly grabbed your jacket, purse, phone and keys, left a message with your bosses receptionist that you would need to take emergency family leave and you would call when you knew more details, before driving straight to the one place and person you knew would always make you feel safe no matter the circumstances or what was happening around you. You’d raced through the lobby up to the penthouse and knocked urgently on the door, forgoing your keys. As soon as your father had opened the door and seen the look on your face you had lost all control of your composure and you had fallen into his arms, as he dragged you into the penthouse.

“Oh my sweet baby girl, my sweet Y/N” he whispers over and over again. Eventually you tell him what had happened, tell him about the phone call and he offers to escort you to his parent’s place to be with them in your time of grieving, you had shaken your head saying that right now all you needed was your daddy and he had squeezed you just that little bit tighter, and so you had tucked your face into your dad’s shoulder and hid yourself from the world as tears continued to roll down your face.

Fictober 2019 - Day 15

Day 15 -  “That’s what I’m talking about!” with Richard Castle

You had no idea why you had agreed to attend this evening of cards, you weren't exactly the best card player and it was definitely showing this evening. You were making an embarrassment of yourself in front of all of his book buddies and it was beginning to get on your nerves. However, when they decide to switch the stakes and bets are made of a more personal level your luck seems to change. You make a bet with Rick to say that if you win or do better than him at the end of the game then he had to do whatever it was you wanted in the bedroom, his bet was the same only you had to fulfil the fantasy that he had been begging you to fulfill for months, the one were you acted like a crazed fangirl at one of his books signing and you had to let him sign your breasts before he made love to you. You had to admit, that as much as you actually quite liked the idea of that, you knew your own bet would turn him on just that much more and he would be jumping at the bit to do it. When the game finishes and the others have all lost their hands it comes down to you and Rick, and when he sees your hand he sighs before showing his own. You squeal in victory as you squeal

“That's what I'm talking about!” before you lean over and whisper in his ear, voice filled with as much passion and teasing as you can muster“Say goodbye to your friend's dearest and meet me in the bedroom”. You place a quick kiss on his cheek before excusing yourself, using the facade of a long day at work as your cover for leaving so abruptly. After saying your goodbyes you dash into the bedroom to get ready. Double-checking your reflection in the mirror you give yourself a content smile before waiting in the doorway of your bedroom between the ensuite and your room. When Rick sees you in the outfit your wearing, the one that he had described your character in his latest novel wearing his eyes bug out and he's instantly in front of you, lips crushing against yours as he runs his hands under your blouse, inching higher and higher.

“I should let you win games more often” he whispers hungrily and you chuckle against his ear

“Oh babe, you know that's not the only way to get what you want” you say before your lips are against his again.

Fictober 2019 - Day 7

Day 7 - “No, and that’s final.” with Alexis Castle

“YOU’Re NOT GOING ANYWHERE! YOU HEAR ME!” he roars and you whirl around, flinching when you see just how close he has gotten to you, he reaches out and grabs a hold of your arm, his grip on you incredibly tight and you shaking to try and get free is not helping matters.

“I am not staying here with you Declan! There is no way I am staying” you say, tears beginning to creep up on you, you try your hardest to not let them show, you know how he reacts when he sees you show any sign of emotion.

“YOUR STAYING WITH ME ALEXIS! YOU ARE NOT LEAVING ME! YA' HEAR ME?” he thunders, with all your strength you push him off of you, head butting him in the nose, it's enough for him to loosen his hold on you and for you to get out of his grip. Racing towards the couch where your purse is and you say

“No, and that's final! I am not staying”. You run, leaving the abuse and torture behind you. He races after you, trying to chase you down, cursing you out as you use every last inch of your being to get away from the man. You don't even bother to wait for the lift, using the emergency stairs as your escape to the parking garage, where you are able to send your step mum a 911 text. As soon as you're in the car and buckled into the car, you start it and drive out of the parking garage like a madwoman, driving towards the 12th Precinct like there is no tomorrow. Your halfway there when you receive a phone call, checking the caller ID you see that it's coming from the 12th and you sigh in relief, answering the call

“Hello,” you say and you hear Kate's voice full of concern as she answers

“Alexis, I got your 911 message, what's happening?” she asks, you explain the situation as best as you can and tell her that you're on your way to the 12th and she tells you she'll have someone meet you down in the parking garage.

When you get out of the car, locking it behind you and see Detectives Ryan and Esposito waiting for you, they expressions soften as they see you, but they quickly search the surrounding area to make sure that he hasn't followed you. When you reach the homicide floor Kate is waiting for you on the other side of the elevator doors. She opens her arms and you immediately run into them, sagging into her arms as you finally break down. You have no idea how but sometime later you find yourself sitting in her office, blinds were drawn, a blanket wrapped around your shoulders as you sob, letting months of torture and abuse both physical and emotional out. Kate holds you close, and when the door swings open and hit the wall you flinch at the noise before you hear Kate growl at your dad. You feel the couch dip as he sits on the other side of you, but you don't let go of Kate, not wanting to lose your lifeline in this moment. You feel your dad place a gentle hand on your back and rub soothing circles along your back. Finally, after what feels like an eternity, the tears finally stop and you find yourself growing extremely sleepy, as you struggle to keep your eyes open you whisper

“I love you, mummy. I love you, daddy”.

School Reunion

@castlexbeckettisforever​ asked “We were young and dumb, but if I meet you now on the street one day and I saw your pretty face then I would definitely make a move on you” with Richard Castle

It was your high school reunion, the class of 1987 along with those that had attended the school over the years were returning to high school on this night to remember their time together and to catch up on the things that had happened in their lives since parting ways. You were dressed in a beautiful figure-hugging dress that framed your body immaculately. You were having a drink with an old friend when you feel a tap on your shoulder, turning around your jaw drops when you see your high school boyfriend the one who back then you had thought was going to be your forever.

“Richard Rodgers? Oh my goodness! It's been years” you say a wide smile spreading across your face and he smiles that same dazzling grin that had won your heart all those years ago.

“Well it's Richard Castle now but yes it has been hasn't it” he says as he grabs two wine glasses of a passing waiter and hands one out to you.

“Thanks” you say, looking into his deep blue eyes, taking a sip from the wine glass.

The two of you spend what feels like forever chatting before a blonde-haired woman sidles up next to him and slips her arm through his, Rick looks down at his date and scowls at her but is quick to replace the smile on his face.

“Babe, don't you think you should introduce me to your friend?” she states, her gaze never leaving you, the fakest of smiles are plastered on her face.

“Sorry, Gina this is Y/N. Y/N this is my publicist Gina” he says and you try your hardest to hide the grin that spreads across your face when you see the filthy look she sends to Rick when he says that, when she realises that Rick's attention is not on her and hasn't been for a long time she huffs and storms off, before turning around and beginning to call out for him, causing a scene. He looks at you apologetically before placing the wine glass on a nearby table, before coming back and leaning down to whisper in your ear

“We were young and dumb, but if I meet you now on the street one day and I saw your pretty face then I would definitely make a move on you”, a shiver runs down your spine and a blush rises on your cheeks at his words before he places a kiss on your cheek before he finally makes his way over to Gina, trying to do some damage control.

Board Games

Staying up half the night to finish a game with them with Castle

Playing board games with your boyfriend had been a bad idea, you think to yourself as you stare at the Scrabble board, and the one letter you had left, you knew exactly where to place it, you just needed Rick to place the letter. His daughter and mother had retreated to bed hours ago, giving up when Rick had begun to grumble about the poor letter choices he had. You watch him, his face deep in concentration and you stifle a yawn. Looking up at the time you note that its nearing 3am in the morning. Clearing your throat he looks up at you, eyes barely able to focus on you when you say,

“It's late Richard, I know it's not my turn but I am shattered, so I'm going to place my final tile and then head off to bed” you say and he looks at you, eyes wide

“Really? You can make a word?” he asks astounded and you nod, placing the tile down in front of the three letter board that had enough space to turn the word aid into qaid, it was also on a triple letter score taking your overall total to over 180 points. Getting to your feet, you place a kiss on the top of his head before heading off to bed.

“Good night Rick” you say as you make your way to the office door.

Fictober Day 30

“Do we really have to do this again?”

You were looking into those deep blue eyes, the ones that always managed to melt your heart in a way that one else was able to do.

“Come on Alexis, do we really have to do this again?”. She began to pout at your complaint, honestly, you weren't, meaning to offend your girlfriend but you were scared that something might happen to her baby sister Lucy if you were to do babysitting duties again. The last time, Lucy had fallen sick and though you knew tummy bugs and colds and such were common in young children you had blamed yourself for the young girls' illness ever since, especially since she had been rushed to the hospital just an hour after her parents had returned home.

“Y/N, you're a good person. You didn't do anything wrong last time, Lucy got sick, it happens, she's fine now. Honestly, she's been asking for you” she says hoping this might peak your interest, it does but you try not to let it show

“Really?” you ask, unable to help yourself, Alexis pulls you in for a hug

“Of course she misses you, you're the sweetest, most caring person I know,” she says and you beam at the words. You lean down and place a gentle kiss on her lips

“Okay, I'll help you babysit Lucy,” you say and Alexis smiles, before dragging you out of the apartment. As she locks the door behind you, you say

“I did miss Lucy a lot”, you don't notice the happy gleam in your girlfriend's eyes at your comment as you make your way down the hall.

Fictober Day 18

“You should have seen it.”

You were buzzing as you made your way into your apartment that you shared with your best friend, you smile upon seeing Kate, sitting on the couch. Making your way over to her you excitedly say

“You'll never guess what I saw on the way home Kate” she looks up at you and holds up her phone, she shows you the picture of you and one of your other friends cheering as you watch the Halloween parade fail, it was hilarious. You take a closer look at the picture, it honestly was a good photo of you and Lanie, you had met Kate as roommates on campus, and you had met Lanie in classes both of you were studying to become medical examiners, your friendship with Lanie had meant that Kate had met her as well.

“You should have seen it,” you say chuckling and Kate gets to her feet, hands on her hips as she says

“I would've loved to be invited on this girls day out that you seemed to be on Y/N. My two best friends ditching me and going to the Halloween parade when we all agreed to stay home, it makes me feel really included” she's pouting and you can tell that she's hurt by your actions

“I'm sorry Kate, I didn't mean to offend you. Lanie has just gone back to her apartment to grab a change of clothes and I grabbed all the stuff for our girls night. Honestly, it was because of the girls night that we ended up running into the Halloween parade” you explain and she sighs

“I'm sorry for getting so upset Y/N, it's just I've been looking forward to my time with you and Lanie all week. Makes the training academy a lot more bearable when I know I've got nights with my friends”.
