A Bath for Aphrodite 💕
Hello everyone! So yesterday (8/9) as started working with Aphrodite to help me with my self-love. In Her honour, and to start my self-love attitude right away, I did some bath magick and decided to share it to wonderful witchblr!
What I used:
🐚A bag of seashells (from the dollar store)
🕯Two candles, one pink and one red
⚫️A black tea and rooibos bath bomb (mostly because I wanted to sit in the black water)
🔮Rose quartz, opalite, and clear quartz
How I set up the bath:
Begin to draw the bath with however warn of water you want. As it’s filling, take the seashells and begin to place them around the edge of the bath. Also put the crystals somewhere on the edge. You can do this however you want, but here’s how I did it.
Once the bath is filled, go ahead and drop the bath bomb into the bath and let it dissolve. As it’s doing so, light and put the two candles in the corners where they’ll fit.
What I did while in the bath:
Before getting in, I turned off the lights and turned on an Aphrodite playlist I found on Spotify.
Once I had gotten in and settled, I began by telling Aphrodite I was dedicating the bath to Her (and to the beginning of our journey together). Taking both of the rose quartz crystals in my hands, I began at the toes and worked my way up to my head, telling myself that I loved each part of my body. I reminded myself that sometimes I wouldn’t like certain parts, and that was okay. (As a nonbinary witch with top dysphoria, I skipped that part of my chest.)
Next, I put one of the crystals down, put my hands with the one crystal over my heart, and closed my eyes. I then listed five things that I liked about myself physically. After I was done, I put my hands and the crystal on my forehead and listed five things I like about myself that weren’t physical.
When I was done, I put the crystal back on the edge of the bath and sat for awhile and just enjoyed the music and Her presence. After that, I pulled the drain and let the tub fully drain and take away my negative self-energy before getting out! Afterwards, I felt beautiful in the moment and took a selfie.
And that was my bath! I’m excited to begin working with Her on my self-love and self-care!
