my unpopular opinion about this character:  1. he owns a phantom blade, i mean isn’t that the coolest thing ever?? 2. i still think he adopted an orphan boy (more like orphan boy adopted him) 3. he has a clear-headed and balanced worldview on the assassin-templar conflict. (”we believe ourselves redeemers, avengers, saviors. we make war on those who oppose us, and they, in turn, make war on us.” SO POWERFUL THO) 4. he has some of the best lines/quotes in the franchise, don’t dare to tell me otherwise! 5. he has an incredible sense of style (favorite assassin outfit)

one thing i wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: a happy life, with the love of his life and kids :(
