THOUGHTS ON TODAY'S VIDEO PART 1/2

We have a lot to talk about.

So, firstly, the idea that they’d be “stuck in a fanfiction” is seemingly random to us. I highly doubt that fans would send fanfic to them, and even then, they wouldn’t want to read Ianthony garbage, RIGHT?

What this means is that to come up with the idea to make this video, they would have had to WILLINGLY READ IANTHONY FANFICS. Also, why did they pick the ship Ianthony when there’s an entire squad that people ship together, too. This was COMPLETELY unnecessary, but Ian and Anthony still approved the idea. Let’s continue.

The video starts with Courtney and Shayne reading an Ianthony fic when the two love birds barge in on them. We already knew that Courtney shipped Ianthony, because of some of her tweets and specifically, last years Vine (where she pushed Ian and Anthony towards each other’s faces), but this tells me that Shayne ships it, too. So let’s see, that means Courtney, Shayne, and Noah from the squad ship it for sure, and a couple members of Smosh Games (I don’t remember whom specifically, but there were tweets that made it blatantly obvious). So what does this mean? They may have written the script, hoping for an Ianthony moment, and Ian and Anthony approved it.

Next, we get the conversation of Ian and Anthony HOLDING HANDS as they go OUT TO EAT. Hmm… seems rather like a date… right? I know this is just a skit, but the fact that they would even consider putting this in the video shocks me. They literally JUST SAID that they go on DATES. And the fact that Anthony pulls out the ketchup packets must mean that they had JUST RETURNED from one. As an added plus, we have Ian saying that he only feels safe when Anthony holds his hand. OK IAN, CALM DOWN.

Additionally in this scene, we get Ian and Anthony being EXTREMELY close and nearly kissing each other (AS SEEN IN THE THUMBNAIL, BY THE WAY).
