Casual Magic || closed AU
The front door opened and closed with a series of soft clicks. Assuming it was Anna returning home from wherever she’d gone—the redhead had refused to say when she’d taken off in a rush that morning, claiming that it was a ‘surprise’—Elsa paused in her daily magical exercises, carefully moving the clump of ice that had previously been floating above her palm to rest on the table.
Although she’d been practicing when she could, her control over her abilities was still spotty at times, which was why she took advantage of Anna being gone whenever she could. Better to practice when no one was home in case of the worst.
“Is that you, Anna?” she called, dusting off her skirt as she rose from her chair. “It’s about time you got home. Where have you been all day?”
