uh oh more stuff for the @dadstielminibang this can't be good, especially because this one is a Disney's 'The Aristocats' AU in which I attempt to draw c a t s (never good). I will confess that while I love movies centered on non-human protagonists in any sense of the word, I was never super into this movie for whatever reason. though as a kid I watched '101 Dalmatians' and 'The Lady and the Tramp' enough times to drive everyone in my house insane so it must just be my very prominent inner dog person mindset rubbing off
for the banner I tried to make the scene look cozy and messy in a 'lived in' sort of way at first glance but with clear vibes that something is decidedly missing (in this case, the family that lives here, though I kept the basket in the scene for recognizability and to connect the two pictures even if it should logically probably be gone by this point unless the cat-napping has not yet taken place). there's an array of cat toys scattered about and scratching posts and yarn balls (which feature the colors of the family because I'm cringe) but no cats to play with them oof. also yes I definitely needed to make a Mickey Mouse cat toy since this is a Disney movie. also also fun fact but the pink ribbon was supposed to be Claire's neck ribbon but she rejected it so it's just laying on the ground now
and here's the original art piece I submitted for claims, featuring Dean meeting Cas and his kittens and potentially getting pushed into helping them return home. in the fic, Dean is a feral street cat, so I drew the corner of his left ear as being nicked to indicate that; Cas and his kittens, as house cats, have no such marks. the basket from the banner makes an appearance here looking a little more waterlogged than before with its droopy bow and damp blankets and the background is inspired by the scene in the movie with the bridge and hill and such. just, y'know, much worse since I'm the one making it lol
