Meet the baby! This is the new bodega cat at my corner store, they're so friendly, I love them.

So some of you may remember Smudge, orange bastard extraordinaire.

After Meeka passed away (fuck cancer), we got him a friend, a little tortie Himalayan mix from an 'oops' litter that we called Penny.

Three years later, Smudge is getting on up there (he's 16!) and getting cranky with Penny, even with arthritis meds. So we got Penny a friend, this little bugger we called Poppy. Poppy's dad was a flamepoint Ragdoll and when she's not being a kitten, she's sooo sweet.

Suus knew what she wanted for Christmas by Sinterklaas, so alright, fine. I wrapped up the takeout box for her. XD

(Sam is wailing that all I'm giving him this year is punishment. This is false. I am giving him a healthy fur - at the cost of my own health and looks, mind you. Some of the scars he gave me this summer for daring to keep his fur from matting when he won't still haven't faded.)
