#cat troubles

My cats have been very ill for the past week, vomiting constantly and then not eating. They’re finally on the mend now, but due to stress and scent changes they’ve started fighting viciously like strangers…!

I’ve been locking one in the living room and the other in my bedroom, but they both want to sleep with me, so the living room resident cries and cries at nighttime.

Between vet ER visits, waking up every few hours to make sure they’re still breathing, routinely syringe feeding them and now dealing with one crying outside my bedroom door all night, I’ve been run ragged.

All this to say… I will no doubt be late in delivering my OKHS Week pieces and hope folks won’t be too disappointed in me >_< I’m disappointed in myself more than anyone!!!

For now I just hope everyone gets back to normal soon… we can’t carry on like this ;;_;;

POV: you try to draw but your cat has other plans

Geraldina was getting better and this morning she was bleeding again and I also found a little poop meaning that she was incontinent. I cleaned it all up, of course and gave her medicine. But then Clara suddenly also started to have diarrhoea! And I found that strange... because both cats don't act very sick, they are not hot, they have an appetite and they come cuddling and playing. So... I think they might not be fine with the food I give them atm?! I tried out new food and shortly after I gave it, Geraldina's symptoms came back and Clara is not feeling too hot... that is suspicious... I threw the can out and will give them from the food that I know is safe. Problem is just, they don't like this food a lot... I really hope they will be hungry enough to actually eat it...

What is this, you wonder?

I will tell you what this is, let me. You see. My cat decided to sleep on my drawing pad. I didn't think much of it. Buuuuuut. Apparently he drooled. This is the backside of the paper.

On the front?

The cat fell asleep drooling into Hashirama's cleavage, making the paper dry creased and leave bubbly paper shadows. Scanning will be gngh. The big shadow valley isn't arted, it's bubbling shadoooooows.

For goodness sake. Cat. Please. In Hashirama's cleavage???

Need a Few Kitty Tips

Hi everyone! So I adopted a cute little kitten a few months back, and was living with my mom who had a nice big blood hound that played with her often. I wanted to buy another kitten around the same age as mine soon, during that time I was moving out of my moms house and didn't want my cat to be lonely. (Because she's always had someone with her.) So to see how she would react to other kittens, I set her up on a date with another one - just seeing how she would react upon seeing them. My kitten is very friendly, she loves animals. Or did, rather. The people who agreed didn't tell me their kitten was aggressive to other animals because she was attacked, and was aggressive to my kitten. I recently moved into a new home, all the way across the country. The family I moved in with has three very sweet dogs (not a mean bone in their body. They really just want to be friends with my kitten.) but since being attacked, Willow has been very... aggressive towards animals as well. It's only been a week, so I'm not expecting anything big, and we keep her separate from the dogs. Willow was fine with my blood hound, and I get a new surroundings type of thing is hard for her. But I really really want her to get along with other animals again, because these are very sweet dogs and I don't want to keep her in one room forever. I want her to explore and be happy. I get that cats and dogs won't always love each other. But it always warmed my heart to see my cat and dog sleeping with each other, and I wish for at least some kind of peace between these three dogs and my kitten. So if anyone has any tips, they would be greatly appreciated. I'm trying to look up similar situations and how they were dealt with. Thanks for reading!

Doing my morning routine of scrolling tumblr until I can't see my phone anymore on account of there being a cat between my phone and my face.

A cat wanting scritches and attention.

A cat who will lick me if she doesn't get it because she knows I don't like it. And who also won't look at the camera even if she already got her scritches.
