1. I have seen a lot of bands live in my life - in the past few years, probably 6 main ones - Trans Siberian Orchestra, City and Colour, Metric, USS, Sam Roberts Band, and Yukon Blonde.
2. places I've travelled to - Germany, Switzerland, Hawaii, St. Maarten, St. Thomas, Antigua, Cancun, Belize, Nassau, Eastern and Western Canada
3. My favourite song changes monthly, but currently it is probably either Dustbowl Dance - Mumford and Sons, Madness - Muse, Man on the Moon - Phillip Phillips or Satan your Kingdom Must come down - Band of Joy. Really into folk right now.
4. My favourite book is the Mists of Avalon by Marrion Zimmer Bradley. I love it because it takes one of my favorite legends - King Arthur, and completely reinvents it such that it is told completely from the women's point of view - mainly Igraine and Morgaine. It is a fantastic novel broken into four time periods of Arthur's lifetime.
5. I have always pictured myself as some kind of big cat - and have been compared many times to a cougar (still not sure if that is a complement or not LOL), but I think being a creature that could either fly or breathe underwater would be way more useful. I'd probably choose to be a hawk if I was a bird, a cheetah or panther if I was a big cat, or a tiger shark if I was aquatic.
6. Definitely either Renaissance/Shakespearean England or Enlightenment, in Italy. Though I am obsessed with Medieval times, they were a pretty shitty time to live unless you were royal.
7. I don't read webcomics, but a lot of my friends rave about Homestuck. Still have no clue what its about though.
8. I'd like to start having some fun this year. Really living it up. I have dedicated too much of my life to making smart choices, studying, and all around being a boring goody goody. I need to have a few unforgettable nights.
9. Craziest thing that has happened to me? Well I used to work at a public library, and a fat lady wearing a tube top came up to the reference floor where I was working. The tube top had one of those circles above the cleavage like some do, and I swear I saw it move. Before I could look away, a freaking massive snake popped its head out of her tube top. No lie. I had to tell my supervisor, and she had to go over there and try and explain to the women that no pets were allowed in the library. LOL
10. Who inspires me the most? People who are genuinely good. People who are willing to give of themselves to help others, or to make others happy. I can find inspiration in anyone - family, friends, peers, mentors. Everyone has something worth admiring about them, and everything has something to offer :P
11. I am sometimes a creative person, although I enjoy having constraints or boundaries in which to work with or design in. I often find myself at a loss when I am presented with a limitless situation and just asked to create something out of the blue, but I like solving problems.
