From late yesterday: a gray fox, STANDING ON MY FRONT DOORSTEP. I wasn’t planning to open the door; I think he is interested in cat-sushi for dinner.
Now that I think of it, in the past I’ve seen bits of fox-shit on the front steps. These guys usually travel with friends; maybe this is the bold one -- drinks from our pool, marks his territory at our front door.
For some reason, he looks small in the pictures, but he’s easily three times the mass of either cat. Went into shock when I glanced out and saw him standing there...
