My friend, I don't feel a desire to be empathetic, I simply am empathetic. I don't feel a wish to have empathy, I just have empathy. For me, empathy isn't a desire, it's a feeling, the feeling of sensing what the other person is feeling; Technically, do I feel empathic attraction or not?
That's up to you, really.
If you find it useful or meaningful to explain your experiences of/with empathy through empathic attraction labels, then by all means do! If you don't, you don't have to.
Queer terms are pretty much all about internal experience, so ultimately I can't tell you what labels do or don't fit you.
Can you coin a term for a bi/mspec person who is exclusively or near exclusively attracted to mspec people? Not like a preference or mspec4mspec but is attracted to someone's multisexual identity regardless of gender
