Hurray for a successful first senior shift!! But also... omg you’re a PGY3 now. Where did the time go. How did this happen. (But let’s be real, you were made to be an awesome and caring senior)

Seriously time has flown. Still have 4 years til I’m done with residency and fellowship though ahahaha.

I am not surprised at any of this wonderful news. You are amazing and this was a foregone conclusion.

Aw thanks <3 I was fairly scared going in but it was a lot of fun and the intern exceeded my (...admittedly low) expectations for their first day so that was nice.

Absolutely! He’s dropping them off Tuesday, I just cleared a surface that’s not in direct sunlight so they’ll be happy I hope :)

I saw this in the axolotl tag: make sure you do in depth research! A lot of people who mistreat axolotls do so by mistake; from assuming that they'll be fine with a typical fish tank setup and things like that. There are a lot of misconceptions people assume are okay; so don't go by what other people's setups are like and double check everything. But they are fun little guys and as long as you given em proper care they can live quite long :-)

Thank you! You are the kind of person I was hoping to attract with that tag haha. The friend I’m taking them from has had them for at least a couple years (I’ll find out how old they are from him) and they seem to be doing well, but I’ve been reading up on them as well. If you have any good resources that aren’t easily findable with a google search please do let me know!

The Christmas Baby one (with the girl from iZombie, the 3rd in the series) which was not as bad as I thought it would be, and The Knight Before Christmas which I genuinely enjoyed

Yep, a lot of doctors say ED instead of ER (especially the ones who work there) with the argument that it’s a department, not a room. Or something. 

(Similarly, EM = emergency medicine and EP = emergency physician, though I don’t see the latter used all that much.)
