Hi! Hello!! I'm so sorry for the late response to this, every time I went to answer it I'd search through my music library and end up lost in music I hadn't listened to in years, and the next thing I'd know, three hours passed

(Top 5 Ask Game)

Taxi Cab - twenty one pilots. Even though I don't otherwise listen to twenty one pilots at all now and haven't for about ten years, this song (and the whole album, but especially this song) holds such a soft spot in my heart. I just. Augh. It's always cited as my top favorite song

Vore - Sleep Token. My absolute beloved. My favorite Sleep Token song. This was also one of my first Sleep Token songs, and while I do quite like the music they put out, there will always be a part of me that wishes that they went down a path more in line with Vore, at least for a few more songs

My Favourite Faded Fantasy - Damian Rice. A lot of Damien Rice's discography has this effect for me, but it feels a bit like lying down on your mattress that you've used for years after a long day, or maybe several days away from your own bed, and the world is still there but in that moment you can sink into an old and familiar comfort. Maybe that's just from listening to him during a really rough point, but it's a nice feeling

Father Time - Kendrick Lamar (feat. Sampha). Another song that comes from an album that I hold dear. I'm not sure why this song in particular stands out to me when others on that album (Auntie Diaries and the Mother I Sober -> Mirror -> The Heart Part 5 sequence) feel like the bigger points of the record, but it has climbed into my all-time top 5

The Family Jewels - Marina and The Diamonds. Hey, I haven't been shy about the fact that I was very much a 2010's Tumblr guy. Of course I listened to Marina.

Same Drugs - Chance The Rapper. Acid Rap was recommended to me a few years ago, which brought me to Acid Rain, and that led me to Same Drugs, which just has always hit pretty close. This version in particular I prefer over the album one, honestly

Infinite Baths - Sleep Token. Need I say more

Sleep - My Chemical Romance. I'm editing the post to include this because I cannot believe I forgot it. I love Sleep. This was 14-year-old me's favorite song.

But I remember when I saw the "catbin deactivated" and I was like :( but at the same time I knew you weren't doing the best so it was no biggie cause you need the time to focus on yourself and that's always more important.
