On the character opinion bingo: I feel obligated to request Johannes because of my growing feelings for him.

There was a point and time where i thought non stop about him and i still go thru that these days….silly cat guy.
First watching Metal Fury i didn’t think that much about him, but i acknowledged that he was funny and i liked a number of his characteristics.
Now…on a Metal Fury rewatch, i watched some clips in the original Japanese dub….*looks around* NOW HEAR ME OUT..…/hj

There are a lot of emotions i have about Johannes that i can’t exactly describe in words but imagine me shaking my fists around my head really fast. yeah
I find Johannes very humorous and I just like that he’s a silly villain without much reason. The show didn’t really give him a reason to WHY he was a villain, and they didn’t give him a backstory or anything. Man’s just mischievous…and also like cats.
I lovee his design and i love the yellow colors. even though his hat is a pain in the ass to draw. He’s a little goofy looking. His bey, Beat Lynx, is really cool imo. out of all the characters in the show, my hair is probably most similar to his…
I am not immune to cat-like characters, especially if they have a habit of acting like one. Most of this is because i also have those habits and tendencies. Johannes meows and makes cat noises and I point at the screen and go “I DO THAT” and it makes me happy hehe.
For the “nothing i like about them is technically canon,” that is like on and off because i love him in canon and also i might be afraid of him if he as real, but Alexis MasterOfDemise provides Johannes and Pluto dynamic content on the regular and i eat that shit up, it’s so good. godbless alexis.
Got to a point where i considered headcanoning him filo too,, would work well with the amount of cats around him all the time. but i think i’ll keep it just for Mr. Number One Dumbass
