Ever since his owners bought this new Alpha to live with them and keep Castiel company, he’s been a pain in his ass. Not literally, thankfully, as he’d never stoop that low to let someone like Dean mate him. Like most eighteen year old Alphas, he was cocky, prideful, and far, far too full of himself. The annoying boy had even called Castiel a prude for being twenty and unmated, and had said that he should feel flattered that ‘someone like Dean was interested in someone like him.’ (1/5)
Which generally ended in either him ignoring him, or hissing at him to scare him off. In many way, he knows he didn’t act like an Omega, and he was perfectly fine with that. In fact, he preferred it like this. Being like this would be much better than going weak at the knees and blushing whenever Dean so much as looked at him. Or, that’s what he thought at first. As time went on he couldn’t help but feel himself growing a soft spot for Dean, especially after the night (2/5)
he found the other catboy curled up under their owners bed. Dean had explained to Castiel that he missed his brothers, Sam and Adam, and that he probably wouldn’t get to see them again. Castiel, even though he knew he couldn’t really promise anything, had told him that one day he’d get to see his brothers again. Then he talked about his own brothers, and how he missed them, too, and since then he and Dean have been pretty inseparable. (3/5)
Honestly, Castiel isn’t sure what his favourite thing about Dean is. Maybe it’s the way he always acts cocky in front of others but is sweet and kind when they’re alone. Maybe it’s the way he pouts whenever Cas scolds him for chasing bees in the garden. Maybe it’s the freckles dusting his tanned skin, or how his green eyes seem to glow bright no matter how dark it is. Maybe it’s how gentle he is with him when they first finally mate, despite how he had acted at first. (4/5)
Whatever it is, Castiel is almost amused by the way he had disliked him so much when they first met, when now he was head over heels. Even if he does feel stupid going weak at the knees and blushing whenever he looks at him. But, whatever it is he loves about him so much, when Dean says he wants to run away and find his brothers and start a new life with them and Cas, Cas is more than happy to agree and leave his old life behind. Ah! This is fantastic! I hope they do find Dean’s brothers and live happily.
