Due to Holiday Miracle, Corny resembles some sort of upstanding young man.

coming home to this terrifying dork every day makes the day job worth it
You can call Corny "Corndog" if you want to, @glittergummy ! He's all for punny nicknames. Yes, I made him for a class! Capstone class is meant to be the last class you ever take in college, and you have to sum up your college experience in a big paper and an even bigger project (mostly if you're in an art program, not sure if other majors have projects like this). Corny was the attention piece of my project, the main course was the print media I designed for a fictional restaurant: Gina's Pizza. Corny was the lead singer of the animatronic band "Corny and the Catbirds" that would play at Gina's if it was real. Fursuit-wise, Corny isn't wearable. His head is almost solid upholstery foam (plus some wires to hold the ears on and some solid styrofoam eye spheres w/ white faux leather on top for texture) so he's more a piece of furniture than a costume. We made a few different mockups of his head in different mediums: wire, foam, etc, and the foam piece that we deemed the best was what we applied the faux fur to. His hands are made of foam and faux fur as well, and all of the created pieces are attached to a store mannequin we bought from a store supply catalogue! (I had no idea you could just buy those!) We had to make some edits to the position of one of the arms, but everything still works like a normal mannequin. That is to say, he wears clothes. Corny's species is indeterminable, he's meant to be something out of place in the rest of the band, whose species are more obvious. His tail means he could be a cat, but his floppy ear could mean he's a dog, but his eye spot could mean he's a cow, and so on and so forth. (I'm sure there'd be a song about it if Corny and the Catbirds/Gina's Pizza was real.) Corny's meant to encourage creativity in the child patrons of the pizza place, to show that there aren't really any rules in art or in identity (even if the kids are a little young to really get into that).
springtime makeover! new-old jacket and new-old neckerchief~! Plus we brushed all his fur! I can't believe it's already been a year since capstone!
Hey there campers, guess who’s got two thumbs and a tablet they have no idea how to use! Send me requests so I can learn the technology!
I might draw your OCs, or your favorite characters! Be aware, they might look terrible, but the point is I’m practicing with the new machine. Please and thank you!
(I should also mention that this is a sub-blog, please direct all asks and/or fanmail to coralchoral.tumblr.com! Thank you!)
