Violet had it worst in the 2005 movie, not only did she have a stage mother, not only did she painfully mutate and inflate into a blueberry hybrid while terrified for her life. Her 'loving' mother caring only for her ability to compete and when Veruca suggests a county fair, her mother considers it, the Oompa Loompas dancing on her would hurt like hell and leave bruises. The juicing is bound to be excruciating and without anaesthetics and they likely would have to remove her clothes for more effectiveness, her body would be bruised and her legs and arms relocated, I dread how they got the juice out more … stubborn areas. when they leave she tries to smile though her pain and show her flexibility her mother shuts her down because she's blue. Judging by the disdain, her mother either did three things:

became worse then ever as a stage parent.

2. locked Violet in the house for the rest of her life.

3. disowned her.

I got bored, so I decided to watch Catcf 2005 on mute and fill in the dialogue. Charlie and his family are still as wholesome as ever, but they are planning revenge on Wonka, Veruca and her family are their rivals, Violet is Chalie's bodyguard hired for the tour (Her mom doesn't know and just thinks she's very imaginative), Mike is a revenge fanatic more than happy to help out the Buckets, and Agustus is just Agustus.

Violet was a hardcore Swiftie but after the tour, she started listening to more alt music like Mother Mother, IDKHBTFM, and Lemon Demon.

I have a headcanon that Violet and Veruca grew up to be very different people, but one night, they saw each other at a K-pop concert, they recognized each other immediately and quickly became friends!

I like to think Violet stays blue and Veruca has to help her get her self confidence back. This would also include getting Violet out of her abusive relationship with her mother.
