The Netflix series “Catching Killers” felt very copaganda. The ones that stuck out the most were the Green River Killer (where they mention public outcry about police taking 20 years to catch the guy, but don’t interview any victim’s families or people who were advocating. Plus, completely deny that they thought less of victims bc they were sex workers) and the Happy Face Killer (where the captain or w/e is calling a woman manipulative bc the officers had sympathy for her and then later blaming her for delaying catching the actual killer bc she did a false confession; however, if the captain had listened to his officer’s concerns or investigated her claims further, would have found that she didn’t do it 🙄). All the interviews were with police (and one journalist) and you can tell that they wouldn’t take any responsibility for wrongdoing or incompetency.
