Part of the reason Luigi Mangione is not condemned, is the same reason Ryan Borgwardt isn’t being judged very harshly. The response to a man faking his death to be with a woman he met online in another country is ‘well at least he didn’t annihilate his wife and kids.’
Because the usual path for a disaffected American man with access to a gun is to commit a mass shooting, people are happy Luigi only killed one bad man, rather than a bunch of innocent people at a mall or a school.
Chris Watts, Dae Reh, Joshua Powell, Michael Haight, Timothy Jones, Richard Murdaugh, Rowan Baxter, Steven Pladl, Christopher Foster and the list goes on and on and on
As much as I love women I would smack the fuck out of those who send LOVE LETTERS to criminals like Chris Watts, who murdered his wife and two small kids. Like how fucked up in the head do you have to be to do something like that. HOW.
