Glad you're enjoying! I don't have any more chapters prewritten, they're in varying stages of outlining/rough drafts, so I'm not sure when the next update will be. We'll just have to see how my muse feels!

Do you have beta reader(s) for your fics? How did they help you during the writing process?

So, I didn’t have one for the main fic of the demon au, or for the currently posted oneshots from that universe, or for Layla. I did have my laptop read the fic back to me so I could hopefully catch grammar errors and stuff though.

For my newer stuff, I do have a beta: @m0jitosss

Between my beta and the discord server’s questions about my fics, I definitely have a lot of help expanding my fics.

I give my beta all sorts of things—from rough outlines to drafts, and get all sorts of feedback—from continuity details like clothing to “this doesn’t feel right”. It’s all really helpful honestly, I’ve edited and added plenty of scenes based on advice.

Another thing that really helps me is research. I've done a lot of research on bobcats, for example. Reading about their behaviors helps me think of quirks I want Meredith to have, if that makes sense. I have a whole tab in my document of what are basically "headcanons" for the cat au, that I'm trying to fold into the work as I write.
