the pen in her hand froze in midair. breaking her from her homework as she sighed, dragging her eyes to look abel. “i know but still.” pulling herself back from the hard work, hand running over her hair that was pulled back into a tight ponytail. “i love my mother more than anything though. she’s trying so hard to provide for us. but that man.” yuna sighed as she shook her head. “he’s paying for my college. i feel ungrateful if i don’t like him a little.” squeezing her eyes shut as she leaned her head back. yuna was never one to say hate but her stepfather was pretty close to the only person she ever hated.
