my thoughts on aoc’s story bc yea im too broke to actually play it lul? it is. nice.

botw had this hauntingly beautiful post-apocalyptic charm that just dug away at your heart bc of the hopeless feeling you would get from seeing everything in ruins, which is what made it so special. im kinda disappointed all that was tossed out of the window, and aoc’s doesn’t have as heavy of an emotional weight as i hoped 😔. BUT that aside, it really was so satisfying and made me so so happy to see zelda shine bright and stand strong, as a dignified princess of her kingdom i felt so proud of her🥺

personally i’d keep aoc away from canon just bc i feel like it’s too. “perfect” but also its story is a feel-good kind of thing that i will think of when i feel sad about botw HWHWHH
