Yes! When I watched the very first episode, just to check out what the fuss is about, I was like Ok, Stefan and Elena are they supposed to be the ship here? Fine, ok. Getting together in ep.1? OKAY. Awwwww, look at this guy! I like him!

Actually the first TVD scene I saw was the 2x08 confession and I knew instantly that this guy would be my favorite. :) And then I saw "Hello Brother" and I was done for :P

Its taken me until today to watch last weeks episode. Not from lack of time, just an abundance of Meh. I think Damon is the only reason I watch the show now.

Same! I was excited about 4x17 not cos of Delena but cos of the Damon flashbacks and I was satisfied with them. So, it's not that I'm upset with TVD or anything, it's as you said, just meh. I'm not really excited about 4x18 cos there's not much about Damon in it, just a lil bit of running after Elena (lol what's new). But he might come into focus once again towards the finale and eventually S5 if he turns human. *fingers crossed*

Damon is the reason I started watching the show, he is the reason I still watch the show and he is the reason why I will continue to watch this show. :D

Oh, I completely agree with you. It IS wrong, and DOES breed ignorance to other cultures. To be honest, I moved around a lot (three continents by the time I was five, oh yeah :D) so sometimes I dont even understand the mindset some have here.

I could be 1000% wrong, but it could be like how we say were American, and people know were from the states, so we assume other places kind of follow the same thought process. Which, of course, is wrong, but the way were taught Dx

US is one single country. China, Japan, India etc are all different countries. In India, every state identifies itself differently. I identify myself as an Assamese because I am from the state of Assam. A person from Punjab will identify as a Punjabi. So, it's highly inaccurate to club states together, let alone countries.
