I don't think so, maybe it's rather about familiar stuff and Katherine being a decent person for once.
I really, really hope so. Because Jer & Katherine is soo wrong. Not because they may share some blood in the genealogical tree (I don't care about that, there's 500 years of generations in between, so no harm there), but because of her looks.
