george pours himself another glass of champagne, feeling a little more restless than usual. having already sent a sneaky selfie to aisling of them taking off in their jet, he wasn’t sure what more he could do to make the time go faster. picking up the bottle, he decides to walk around the plane and offer champagne to everyone. he stops in front of catherine. “ so, is it true? did you decide to stop acting like a walking personification of your wikipedia page for the night? ” he looks over at effie. “ did you hear about that too, effie? ” @catherinestuart , @effiestuart

“ hey sis! ” george’s enthusiasm mirrors that of a californian influencer greeting their twelve followers on an instagram live. his eyes drop to the baby. his nephew. “ huh- ” brows furrow, head tilts to the side, a playful glint in his eyes as he muses dryly, “ at least now i can say i’ve seen an ugly baby. ” he’s joking. it’s rather annoying, actually. frederick’s really fucking cute. so cute that he almost wants to hold him. that would be an idea but he doesn’t want catherine to think he’s going in for a hug so he steps past her into her apartment without waiting for an invitation.
