O merciful God, take pity on this soul, who has no particular friends and intercessors to recommend him to Thee, who, either through the negligence of those who are alive, or through the length of time, is forgotten by his friends and by all. Spare him, O Lord, and remember Thine own mercy, when others forget to appeal to it. Let not the soul which Thou hast created be parted from thee, his Creator. May the soul of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
