make sure you use private browsing when looking up flight tickets. airline sites use tracking cookies to charge frequent flyers extra.

thanks for the advice! I always clear my cookies or go on incognito when I’m actuallly buying tickets because of this :P it’s super frustrating that they do that, honestly... pretty unethical
