do you guys remember that person who wrote a retelling of the iliad but it was about catkoi? the one written in ancient greek verse and then translated by another fan separately. i’m not normally a catkoi shipper, but that fic destroyed me. hate to admit this, but i originally read the translation. i loved it so much that i learned ancient greek just to read the original. sometimes i wonder if the author was homer reincarnated. i hope they’re doing well now. i know it’s common for hbhf fans to disappear, but still, i worry about them. it would be a shame for such a great artistic mind to be lost
