Yes!!! If you’re unsure whether you’ll like the series or are just short on time, then jump right in and play mgs3!!! It’s a prequel so you don’t have to know anything from previous games. Mgs and mgs2 are also really good games and worth your time in my opinion though.

I’ve beaten 3 and 5, played a substantial amount of 4 and peace walker, and that’s about it.

I mean to play all of em and I have the collection, I just need to be in the mood and maybe it’s that time. I’d probably start from Solid (saving the prior games for when I’m feeling a touch more retro) and move right on up through them naturally. DEFINITELY replaying 3 again because 3 is a masterpiece of gaming and I’ll fight everyone on earth about it, then I can finally beat 4 :D

Yeah, I think I might start that today. It’ll be a challenge to figure out how to capture it for posts on the game blog nonsense but I’ll figure it out.

I’ve never given Solid and Solid 2 a chance because when I was a kid and put my hands on the controller at a cousin’s house I immediately said “This isn’t good” and stopped because I had zero patience for games that don’t make me invincible and god like in the first 3 seconds.

I was not a patient kid and had great tastes on the positive end- and terrible tastes on the negative end since I thought EVERYTHING sucked if it wasn’t pokemon or an already completed save file of final fantasy one shotting imps.

What an idiot. lol.

Mass effect?

never played | want to play | terrible | boring | okay | good | great | a favorite

technically i did play it but it was back in high school and it was only for 20 minutes, and then it was my friend’s turn.

What's your favorite book? Mine is East of Eden.

I’ve never read that! I’ve heard good things about it though, so I know I need to! The only Steinbeck book I’ve read is Of Mice and Men and that book made me so sad that I think I still haven’t fully recovered from it tbh lol

And I’m not sure what my absolute favorite are, as they often change based on what’s happening in my life and what I’m feelin’ at the time.

But right now I’m completely in love with Pride and Prejudice and it’s pretty much always a contender because it’s just so good. Another classic that I really really love is Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is also up there. And is kind of like my go to book when I’m upset. In fact any Harry Potter book is a fav.

And I really really love The Darkest Minds series by Alexandra Bracken. So. Good. I’ve reread those books AT LEAST four time each.
