Slow Burn Update!

The final page of Chapter Two of Slow Burn, my silly sci-fi-esque webcomic, updating over on ComicFury.

We do have a plot in mind for chapter three, working title: The League of Extraordinary Scientists.

Slow Burn is a fun little side project for me, working in conjuction with @concombremelon whenever we both have time in between other things (read: we scream at each other on discord and then I have to sit down and draw whatever insanity came out of that).

As such there is no real update schedule. We write out the whole chapter, then break it into pages, then I storyboard, and only once the entire thing is storyboarded and all the concept art is done will I actually start drawing pages.

P&A is still my main creative baby, so any Slow Burn (or other project) work has to come secondary to that.

Still, we'll eventually get around to the origin story of the Big Apple, the tapir, and Geraldine herself.

Prompt 25: Trust

Okhi liked people a great deal, but she hadn't really learned to trust them again.

She was the first to notice how Daoko would sneak away at night - and the first to find out why. 

"If he makes you happy, I won't tell you to stop. Just - be careful, okay?"

It took a good deal of trust, Okhi found, to let herself lay in any man's bed.

Honestly, it wasn't until she'd embraced her Darkness - until she knew her strength - that she could sleep beside another. 

Resting contentedly, her limbs tangled between her mates', she was glad she had managed.
